This celebration pays tribute to that enduring legacy, commemorating the strength, dedication, and pride of German heritage.
About National German-American Day
Designated by President Ronald Reagan in 1983, October 6th marks National German-American Day—a tribute to the lasting influence of German immigrants on the American experience. During our celebration, the prestigious Joseph Meschede Award of Excellence will be presented, recognizing individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the German-American Society.
